## Flavor

Wooden nails used as pegs when building a Panokseon, hammered between the joints to secure them. As the wood gets wet, it swells, increasing the strength of the joint. It also maintains flexibility due to the unique nature of wood as a material. Even if a wooden nail becomes damaged, you can always whittle away the damaged part and reinsert it.
