Charlatan

A charlatan is attempting to sell panacea. He moves from village to village to avoid encountering the victims of his ruse. Occasionally, though, he comes by them in other villages and is beaten black and blue.

The elixir he sells is little more than a bitter drink made by boiling dandelion roots.
