Beatrice, the director of the Orzeca Archives in the capital city of O'draxxia, hopes that Sephir, the one whom she loved dearly, returns as soon as possible.

After examining the numerous documents left by the people of the Ancient Kingdom of Orzeca, she realized that Sephir's growing greed would lead her to the same tragic end as that of Orzeca. For Orzeca warns against the God of Hope, mentioned in the records as the Lord of Corruption.
