Elmas

Elmas was once a hunter. But now, he never hunts. One day, he hunted down a large fox he had been tracking, only to find a cub in its mouth.

Seeing the cub crying for milk while looking at its mother, dead and cold, shocked him to the core. He knew that killing was necessary and a natural law of survival, but for some reason, the image of the fox cub kept playing on his mind. One day, when Elmas was stunned at just how awful the cooking of his colleague was, which was truly terrible. From that day on, Elmas decided to become a cook.

With the belief that it is pure misery for an animal to be hunted and made into a terrible tasting dish, he honed in on his cooking skills, and eventually, most of the ranchers and hunters in Velandir came to Elmas for his cooking.
