Rakshan Oasis

The only oasis on the trade route between Valencia Capital and Mediah. Merchants, hunters, pilgrims, and various others who cross the Valencia Desert stop here to replenish water.

Its significance has decreased since the development of maritime trade, but it used to be so important as a strategic point that the tribe who controlled it held supremacy over the whole of Valencia. Rakshan means "shining place" in Old Valencian.
