Followers of Aal go through a ritual once a year where they go on a pilgrimage to seven sanctums to wash away their sins. There are several pilgrim's sanctums around Valencia, whose arrangement follows the shape of Aal's eye.
Obedience is the first of the seven commandments of Aal.
