Plain Stoneback Crab

The Plain Stoneback Crab is considered a type of stoneback due to the rock atop its back, but life on the plains has been good to this species. Not only is it bigger than others among this family of crabs, it has also grown a healthy layer of moss on its back.

Such crabs typically hide in holes dug in the ground and use their stone as protection. They only appear to attack with poison when threatened.
