During the brief period of time when Illezra was able to amass powerful magic and bring catastrophe to Mediah, she had her five of her most faithful servants, whom were called her "Five Rings." Between them, they conquered all of Mediah and gathered resources for Illezra. Even though they were able to hide themselves along with Illezra, their influence still remains behind in Mediah.
