However, one day he was somehow drawn into a battle between the Cox and Tricorne Pirates, lost everything he had, and ultimately ended up stranded on Portanen Island.

He regrets his past, swearing that he'll never lie again if he ever makes it back. But anyone who knows him will assume that's a lie, too.
