Anglers are a species of fish known for their large, grotesque mouths and voracious appetite, capable of swallowing large fish whole. Despite their unappealing appearance, they are often appreciated for their taste, with few people disliking them once they've had the chance to try them.

On Iliya Island, fishers hold a unique belief regarding these creatures. They consider it a fortunate sign when, upon cutting open an angler, another fish is found within its stomach.
