Barbel Steed

Being highly adaptive, this species can be found in a variety of environments, ranging from clear waters to muddy conditions. Its body shape is slightly slimmer than that of a carp, yet it features a significantly longer snout with a protruding tip. The mouth, located beneath the snout, resembles a horseshoe and is characterized by thick lips.
