Manbok grew up learning from the healer who treated her parents' illness during her childhood. Under the mission of saving lives, she traveled across the country to treat patients. Despite being a commoner, she was treated as a government servant while she worked as a healer, but Manbok never lost her smile when dealing with the sick.
Later, petitions praising her poured in from all over the country, and the court summoned her to the palace to practice medicine for the ministers and the royal family. Due to Manbok's exceptional medical skills, all the healers in the palace treated her with respect, and she was always called upon to discuss matters related to illnesses.
