## Summary

Have you been to the Abandoned Land?
The land is filled with those whose skin are darkening and rotting.
No one knows for certain the exact cause of the sickness,
but it's widely accepted that it is the same Ashen Plague first observed in the northwest 8 years ago.
The Ashen Plague was also the reason why the northwestern lands were originally abandoned.
The cause of the plague? Many claim that Heidel was responsible,
because Calpheon was at war against Heidel at the time.
It's hard to imagine the peace-loving Serendians would've done such a thing but...
Perhaps the horrors of war are responsible for bringing out a malicious side of people.
Luckily, the Elion Church were able to stop the plague from reaching the capital.
However, this came at the cost of forsaking the Calpheon Refugee Camp,
which is now known as the Abandoned Land.
If you ever come across the lands, you'll see why the northwestern territory was abandoned.
