My daughters and I finished adjusting to our new life in Velia, and I had just about laid down the pain and sadness within my heart.

The village chief Igor Bartali came to me.
He told me that his granddaughter was suffering from endless nightmares.

The chief's granddaughter, Emma Bartali, was emitting an unknown aura, energy immersed in darkness.

Poor child. She appeared to be about my daughters' age. The horrific events that had occurred at Cron Castle were haunting her.

This was the karma tied to House Bartali and would curse their house until the bloodline had perished. Caphras, that nasty man. The young girl was not to blame.

For Emma, I crafted a necklace imbued with a simple elixir that would ease the effects of the aura through alchemy, and handed it over.
