These beings are far from ordinary. I must flee this place with all haste. Yet, since pledging myself to their faith, should I fail to show my face for even a single day, the fearsome priests come seeking me... no matter where I hide.

Curses! I must find a sanctuary where their eyes cannot reach. But alas, there is no ship to carry me away, and the other shore teems with Papus.

Wait... there is but one place they cannot follow. The army. If I join the ranks, they will lose my trail. I must enlist at once.

Heavens! It feels like only yesterday that I endured the grueling training of the Calpheonian forces. To think I must join the military for a second time... This is dreadful. Let it all be but a fleeting nightmare...
