What? How did you rein in those four rascally critters? Stubbornness is in their blood.
Anyway, as far as the smuggling incident goes, things died down quite quickly after it.
The details elude me, but no one seems to consider it much worth remembering.
Either that, or they were able to keep everyone involved quiet about the matter...
Rumors say the prince and his companion were searching for some miraculous seed.
Apparently a seed that could "bloom even in the midst of the Black Death," or something?
(Suddenly I'm beset by another flashback... a refugee camp...  wiped out by the Black Death...
My younger self had expressed a desire to restore this camp to its former, livelier version.
"It's as good as done. When you return, you shall witness the small hope I shall restore."
