The second material to craft the
Gem of Imbalance.
Also known as the cup of reincarnation, the
Cup of Oblivion is seen by the Ahib as being connected to
Ibedor, the serpent of Hadum that first trespassed in O'dyllita.
Prior to the birth of
Kzarka, the God of Hope, the Orzecans worshipped the
Thornwood Goddess, the Goddess of Darkness. One day, Belshuan, the one who led the Ancient Kingdom of Orzeca's golden age, and his supporting witch, Hexa Moa, announced the following proclamation.
"Last night, the pure offerings for
the Divine Tree Quturan rooted in the goddess' holy abyss were all deceived by the
Shadow Snake and perished. This snake is one we have never seen before, and on top of that, it means there is an evil god coveting Orzeca from the outside world. Not even the Thornwood Goddess of Darkness' barrier could stop the Shadow Snake and the snake's mark is left in our lands whose golden age was brought by the knowledge of the Goddess. Before long, this land shall be eaten by the shadows from beyond this world. Darkness shall creep in, following the mark left by the Shadow Snake. But considering that the snake has come to this land after hearing the song of hope, if we fill this land with despair, we shall yet prevail, as the snake will never find us again."
Then Belshuan and Hexa Moa revealed the Cup of Oblivion, and spoke once more.
"This is the cup of resurrection that purifies and reincarnates all the soul's thoughts, memories, and emotions. Anyone who captures Ibedor, the Shadow Snake, who has yet to leave this land, shall be rewarded with this Cup of the Goddess."
