The last survivor of the royal family of Mediah, Bareeds III barely escaped with his life thanks to the help of Sarma Anin, the commander of the royal guards.

He is clever, but finds it difficult to trust anyone. He has particularly enmity for Neruda Shen and acknowledges that he is not safe in Altinova, where the vast majority of residents turned their backs on the royal family.
