The Black Spirit NPC Knowledge seems to have figured out what the Shadow Knights are planning. Also, Edan's party is here to prevent him from attaining even more power. Move to the highlighted place inside the basement located under the watchtower.
Head into the secret place and talk to Lafi Bedmountain;
