Irvin came to me in tears. It turned out that he was rejected.
I couldn't believe it! I though I had well-prepared him for success!
I have been in love several times, but I have also been rejected several times. Therefore, I could not sit idly and watch poor Irvin wallow in sorrow.
I called over Tulem to help me console Irvin. It's better to have more people in a situation like this.
We both gave Irvin things we thought would help him forget the pain of rejection for a while.
Yet, Irivin would not stop crying. So, we all drank together until his tears dried up and our glasses were drained.
