It is the result of the mutant Treants dwelling in the ruins' trees.
They absorb the forest's energy and
threaten the existence of the living and breathing forest.
Luckily, they are slow and won't be difficult to defeat,
but we can't stop them from spreading on our own.
I beg you, adventurer,
please help restore stability in the forest.
