Chapter 7: Bari the Mudang Wraith NPC Knowledge

As time went by, a fearsome rumor spread throughout Dalbeol Village. According to the rumors, none who set foot in Bari Forest made it out alive. They called out the name of Bari the Mudang Wraith until death found them. Some claimed to have witnessed the utterly lifeless souls that lurk about in Bari Forest.

Cling! Cling!
The ring of bells call forth the Servile Wraiths. The traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge stand there, absentminded. The Mudang Wraith tries to turn them into Servile Wraiths as well, when...

"Bari, I command you! Stop the ritual at once!"

Old Lady Birigongdeok NPC Knowledge's bellowing command chases away the Mudang Wraith. The traveler and Dolswe, who were spared their lives, listen to the old lady's story. Bari was the Mudang Wraith's true name, the precious child of the old woman.

It's a mystery how the child, who was headed to Mount Ahshi for the Water of Life, returned as a Mudang Wraith... What a poor soul. After listening to the old lady's sorrowful story, the travel and Dolswe determine to help the Mudang Wraith, who had met a tragic end, to rest peacefully.
