Chapter 3: The Changui and the Snake Meat
A traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge arrived in Dalbeol Village, which they find in ruin. The bodies of constables were scattered about, and there was wailing from every corner. Tiger attacks had ravaged the village.
Sangoon NPC Knowledge and the tigers were once guardians of this land, but for reasons unknown, Sangoon called for devastation across Donghae... Before more harm could be done, Yeonhwa and the traveler defeated him and the Changui.
Peace returned to Dalbeol Village, but a sudden commotion arose somewhere. It was Oksoon and her mother arguing in front of Mr. Byeon NPC Knowledge's butcher shop. They'd come after hearing that snake meat wards off tiger attacks. The traveler then handed them green plums, saying that Changui like sour things.
Oksoon and her mother said farewell and departed for Nampo. But was it true that eating snake meat could ward off tigers? Many people seemed to believe so, as the prices for snake meat were skyrocketing.
As twilight descended, Dolswe and the traveler looked for a place to spend the night. Not at a tavern, but at the Honorable Choi House, the richest house in all of Dalbeol.
