[Storybook] Tale of Imoogi
Black Spirit
Objective
Chapter 8: Centipedes Hunting Imoogi NPC Knowledge
Just as the Dragon orb's energy surrounded the Imoogi Child, the voice of the imprisoned Imoogi resonated through the child.
One day, a group of a hundred people wearing centipede masks arrived from beyond Donghae Province. They wished for Imoogi to raise a young tree for them, and in return, Imoogi demanded that they remove their masks and live a long life.
In response, one by one, they took off their masks and said, "Your death will soon mark the beginning of a new end..."
With those words, they ended their own lives in front of him.
According to the rule that breaking the Imoogi's conditions would bring great misfortune, the souls of the hundred people wearing centipede masks fell into damnation, and Imoogi, who watched their misfortune, withdrew himself into a pit of despair.
Nourished by the despair that grew from the blood of the hundred people and Imoogi, the tree dug into the body of the Imoogi and rooted itself, ultimately extending all the way to Tiger Palace to corrupt the Dragon orb.
The Centipede Market, exploiting Imoogi's trick against him...! Their tree was the very seeds of the plague.
Mongryong wanted to help the pitiful Imoogi, but Imoogi refused, knowing that it would come at a great sacrifice. "Cherish yourself. There is nothing more precious than yourself in this world..."
