Objective
Chapter 9: The Legacy of Koo Mieun
And then, the Imoogi NPC Knowledge Child declared that she would sacrifice herself. Knowing her fate was to die anyway, the child fearlessly threw herself into the purification of the dragon orb. She asked Seungsan NPC Knowledge to say goodbye to Mihyun, and thanked the traveler for helping Mihyun let go of her ill feelings. In the place where the Imoogi Child disappeared, there was a bead similar to the necklace that Mihyun wore.
At that moment, Seungsan remembered a story he had heard long ago.
"Mihyun's sister, Koo Mieun, who showed me kindness in my youth... It was said that she scattered a hundred beads across this land before she passed away. In this world... when sacrifice is necessary, she said she would take the place."
Koo Mieun, Mihyun's sister was eventually hunted down and killed by the Centipede Market. However, even in death, she was still trying to save the human world.
The traveler headed to the altar to save Imoogi. After subduing Gangchul, they placed the purified dragon orb on the altar. As a result, the pervasive green fog that covered the land disappeared, and peace returned. Of course, Miss Myo NPC Knowledge, who was very cunning, emerged unharmed from Imoogi's belly.
Upon reuniting, Mongryong vowed to find and punish the Centipede Market, which was threatening the Land of the Morning Light, using any means necessary.
"With the power we conjured together, let us protect the home of the heart, this Land of the Morning Light."
