Objective
The laborer said that a close neighbor he know from hometown also was brought to this mine, saying that he could be somewhere close to the center of Abandoned Iron Mine. It seems the neighbor has something to tell you. Let's go find him.

Well then, there's someone you need to see.
There is a man I know from hometown
who was brought here about the same time I came here.
I'm not sure if he's going to be as good as Horio Tinya NPC Knowledge,
but this guy is quite bright, too. And he's one of a few I could really talk to.
Right now, everyone is too busy to barely survive
so even I'm not so sure where he is exactly.
But the last time when I saw him, he was being brought to
the central area of this Abandoned Iron Mine.
I think an Adventurer like you will have no problem with
passing through all these barbarians to find him.
